Hi,

I want to know 2 things:

1) I placed a link on my site that opens a new window, but I want the window to have a fixed size. How do I do that?

2) I want to implement a table inside a table that has not the standard rectangular layout, but a rectangle with rounded edges, so something like this (poorly drawn, but I hope you understand):

(------ )

(____)

How can I implement that?

Thanks!!

1st of all in order to open a window to a set size you will need to use javascript. Here is a basic example:

this goes within the tags...<head>HERE</head>
you can change the width and height variables which will determine the popup size

<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript">
<!-- Begin
var newWindow = null
function popup(gotoUrl)
{
if(!newWindow || newWindow.closed)
{
newWindow = open(gotoUrl,"Name2","width=370,height=200,resizable=yes,menubar=no,scrollbars=no,status=no,left=150,top=150");
}
else
{
newWindow.location = (gotoUrl);
newWindow.focus();
}
}
//-->
// END -->
</SCRIPT>

Your link to the popup should be

<A HREF="javascript: popup(yourpage.html')">Click here for popup</A>

Second, there is no code to round a table. You will have to create graphics that give the appearance of rounded edges. check out my site and view the source... you will see what I mean. www.webmarkart.com
