Problem in window.open()

When a button in parent window is clicked multiple times, more than one child window is opened. This problem is occurring in linux. In windows the code is working fine. Is there any option in window.open() method to open a child window once.

It depends on the value in the second parameter that you pass which is the name of the window to open. If you use anything other than _blank then the same window should reopen. Setting the fourth parameter to true or false may also make a difference as that parameter determines whether an existing window should or shouldn't be reused.

This problem occurs only in linux firefox and mozilla browsers. Is there any known issue regarding this case?. Need a workaround to fix this issue.
