txh i have fixed this problem but i thing that it is more complicated...Netscape supportsw external stylesheets?
i think that the problem now is this line
<link rel="stylesheet" href="menu1.css" id="css_menu">

You got bigger problems than that......
http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.evridikifans.gr%2Farxiko.htm&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline

Interesting...
Can the validator accomodate VBSCript, ASP, Javascript, HTML, etc. in the same file. Seems to go stupid with ASP.

I wouldn't worry too much on that 'validator'! Everytime I check my site through it, there are ALWAYS problems:
http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.angelfire.com%2Fmo2%2Fcbch21%2F&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=%28detect+automatically%29
It might not be 'valid', but the darn thing works!

Yeah, right....
Does it work in NS6 or any Gecko browser for that matter???

To RadarBob - how can it go "stupid" with ASP? I can't comprehend that since ASP sends pure HTML/client-side script to the client (even the validator).
Edit: I see glenn has found you still have some local paths in your source. That's the first thing I'd fix. :)
But to be honest, I haven't had any major problems using XHTML 1.1 (the newest version) except for lack of IE CSS support, and differences in Mozilla, IE, and Netscape...
but there are ways to get around that and still be compliant, assuming you don't want your website to look the same in all browsers!.
You'd think the companies producing browsers would have learned their lesson by now (after around a decade of people complaining about proprietary code).
I'm half tempted to leave my site in plain black Times New Roman (actually not defining a font at all, or using any CSS), with plain text on a white background.
However it will be extremely functional - that might not be a bad idea until the people making browsers decide to get on the same page. After all, webpages are about content, and that's what gets repeat visitors. :D
It ain't pretty, but it works very well.
