I need a draw tool: easy-to-use one.
windows-paint is a good one - except it can not manage transparent of GIF file.
I hope the tool can control transparent of GIF file and simple as windows-pain in using - not hard.
photo-shop is really terible for me.
any links and comments?
please do not tell me google search, I need your experiences about the draw tool.
thx

If you want to have transparency and still use MS paint, you can download Microsoft GIF Animator, you'll have to google it as I don't know where I got mine, it doesn't just animate, it makes transparencies.

First up, I strongly disagree with the idea that the Paint program that Windows offers could be described as "good". If you're serious about graphic design, regardless of the media for which the graphics are for, that program is not the way to go. The Adobe products, in particular Photoshop and Illustrator, are extremely powerful tools for graphic design. If you're not familar with the software, there's an abundance of tutorials available for using either program - Horray for Google! (http://www.google.com/search?q=Photoshop+tutorials)

Personally I use msn search.
Anyways, MS paint is, as far as I am concerned, OK, but not "good" for serious graphics stuff. Gimp is great. What I usually do is use paint and gimp in conjunction, that works great. Draw a simple form in paint, do the editing in gimp. Works for me, but your mileage may vary.:p

heh. I usually just get a rough idea in my mind, say for a site layout or somesuch, and go from there via a series of selections, paint fills, re-selections, deletes.. and repeat. Something half-way decent usually comes out. =P
