Looking for script

I'm looking for a quick, easy PHP script to put on my site that will allow me to add little snippets about 4 or 5 lines of text for an Updates section on the nav. bar. (I'm no coder...) I'm in a current position where I have DreamWeaver on one computer that doesnt have internet, and not on this one, so I want to base most of my site on PHP and such so I wont need to keep moving files from one computer to the other. If anyone knows of one, please help.

Did you check at hotscripts.com? I can make a custom made script for you but it is not going to be free :)
