Hi,

I'm looking for a new header for my website: http://www.choiceofhomes.com

I'm looking for a new header will go well with my site. It would have to fit the following criteria:

- Match well with my present color scheme of blue
- Dimensions - 762 * (84-90 or larger if you think the logo itself should merge with the header)
- Format: Can be JPG, GIF or even Flash
- Size: Maximum 20Kb
- Something professinal looking. It can be conceptual, doesn't necessarily have to include an image of a house but don't want someting cartoonish (which is primarily the reason for change of present header)
- The header does not have to include the text that exists on my present image. It can be a whole image also.

Budget: $15 per header.

I am not looking at only one header, may want more for future stock. Anyone interested can me mail me prospective designs at sameer AT choiceofhomes.com and if I like the design(s), I'll make the payment by PayPal. Cannot make payment via any other method.

i've got a few responses already. what's a good price then? frankly, i wouldn't mind paying a little more if i got something nice but what's a good price to pay?

I pay my designer 45% of what I make. But that price is not for all people!

A few years back, a man had a product, and he wanted a really catchy name to use for marketing. He reportedly paid $75,000 to a company to come up with the name, and he has easily made that much back by using what they suggested. It's too bad he didn't just ask his mother. The product was Orville Redenbackers Gourmet Popping Corn.

My point is: Sometimes the easy answer is best. Personally, I like what you have.

There must be atleast 50$ to 80$ for quality and original work and if you want just the combination of some clip arts which is fatched from other sites than you can go ahead :)

Yes sometimes creating a brand is very important, people are willing to pay a huge price for it. It all depends on budget.

That's the worst advice I've heard in weeks.
Never, I repeat: NEVER slice up images and put them in tables. Generally spoken: Never use tables for layout! Use CSS for that. For questions like hasnain721's there is a HTML/CSS forum here...

It is not common.Designers dont use tableless layout yet thatswhy i said in tables either you can control through CSS or you can put in LAYERS mean TABLELESS LAYOUT :)
