I have a fairly large HTML table that returns from an asp page that I wan to lock the top row and the first row on the left. I have seen countless examples that work great with <=100 records. I apply the CSS and HTML to my page and it makes IE Unresponsive. Below is the CSS that I have for the table. If any one can point me into a more effecent way of doing this where it won't crash IE, I would appreciate it.

<STYLE>
#container {
OVERFLOW: auto;WIDTH: 452px
}
.bothHeader {
LEFT: expression(document.getElementById("container").scrollLeft-1); POSITION: relative;
top: expression(document.getElementById("container").scrollTop-1); /* IE5+ only */
z-index: 2;
}
.locked {
position:relative;
cursor: default;
top: expression(document.getElementById("container").scrollTop-1); /* IE5+ only */
z-index: 1;
}
.lockedleft {
position:relative;
cursor: default;
LEFT: expression(document.getElementById("container").scrollLeft-1); POSITION: relative;
}
</STYLE>

I have to have a freeze pane effect for this table, Frames are not options.
Thanks,
Josh
