Hey everyone, I’m in a website creation predicament and hopefully someone can lessen my woes. The last few weeks I created my 2nd site with the layout via Photoshop cs2. Now I’m incorporating FLASH 8. My goal is to have a simple yet trendy website using Flash to open a portion of the website’s information after clicking on the Nav’ bar. (i.e. dialog boxes, picture slideshow, and have a small Flash presentation at the beginning ALL IN THIS VERY WINDOW.) This is being created for an academic private school – I don’t want any scrolling up and down *pages*. Just Click and information fades in and out of the box. This is what I plan to do, however, there must be an easier and more efficient way so that I can update any information with just opening a file and a few keyboard strokes after the site has been published.
• Slice nav boxes and the dialog box I want to change in cs2
• Send to imageready
• Save file for flash
• Import to flash – Do something like this? (go to link) http://tutorials.learnflash.com/tutorials/flash/simple-page-transitions.html
• Then piece it all together with dreamweaver

What if I want the text in flash dialog boxes – is it as easy as
changing a file?
or do I have to the whole .swf file again!?:(
If anyone knows any tutorials or has some ideas – my ears are wide open! For I’ve been stuck for over 2 weeks now.
