I have a project that needs finishing off. Its an online booking system which allows customer to book accomodation. There is a couple of small problems, 1 of the problems is that when the customer inputs there issure No. and expiry date for there payment and submit it, The payment isn't displayed in the admin section like it's suppose to just the headings of the payment but no actual numbers ?

This is an hour's job (if that) for an experienced PHP/MYSQL. I'm hoping it can be finished tonight so anybody with a little spare time, tonight preferable. drop me an e-mail (msn messenger address would be good too).

Thanks

This is an hour's job (if that) for an experienced PHP/MYSQL.

Two questions (or comments)...

One, what are you willing to pay?

Two, although this may be an "hour's job" for someone familiar with the code, ti most likely will take a few hours for even an experienced coder to work on new code that someone else developed. You're probably right that in that it may be only 30 mins to make the corrections, but finding the code that you need to modify might take a while. Are you willing to pay for that time as well?

Just curious

There isn't a lots of code and it should be simple enough to find. I'm hoping someone who has a bit of spare time tonight wants to earn a hours work then great.

So if my hourly rate is 100US dollars an hour you would be willing to pay that? What I am getting at is you need to read the rules of this forum. You must clearly state payment in a monetary form. What is your budget? http://www.codingforums.com/showthread.php?t=71824

hmm... you kinda need to realise that most experienced coders can get plenty of such offers, and that few of them will actually take these on.

to do this "1 hour job", we'll need to download the php, download the mysql-dumpfile, recreate the db, check with you what needs to be fixed, hunt down the problem, correct it and upload the fixed code for evaluation, probably need to adjust some things etc.

you'll need to convince someone that this will indeed be a quick, straightforward job. and your posts in this thread aren't realy pointing in that direction...

I see where your coming from RAF, but the MYSQL tables is an easy create statement in PHPMYADMIN as i have exported the tables, 2 minute job. All the files are zipped ready to go staright on to there local host. All it takes is someone with the PHP knowledge to sus the error, i can even point them in the right direction i just dont have the know how to fix it.
It would probably be 20 mins if that i really dont see why people are doing this in the paid job section, someone has made me an offer if other users think differently then fine but it feels like im been preached .

if you're preached, then this is probably because you don't seem to pick up the signals we are sending you:
--> give us a clear budget you plan on spending ($10? $50? $100?) as stated in this forums rules
--> don't assume it'll only take 1 hour. The overal time we'll need to invest in it will probably be higher, simply because we need to set everything up, figure out what you need etc. so stop emphasizing how small of a job and how simple it all is; making the codechanges will probably not take the biggest slice of our time...

ok fair enuf: - $20 max/hour, after coder receives job if they estimate the job will exceed an hour then estimation of time scale will be requested.

Thanks
