how can i format the text?

when I copy the text from ms word which contains all the bold, italic, underline and tables text. how can I modify the text when I paste in the textarea like I want to remove the tables and underline of the underlined text, and the rest should be as it is.

some body please help is it posible with the paste event. and how.

you cannot have blod itaclics and underlined stuff in a textarea. you can can only change all of the text. otherwise if you want oto break the piggy to get this desired effect youcant get something called editize from www.editize.com

in a textarea, im nearlly 100% sure you cant change individual pieces of text inside a textarea?
