I am making a web page and the background is tiling. It is a picture from the owner of the site , how can I make this so it is one page and no tiling....Thanks so much for all the help...

This is your code it is tiling becuase u have the image twice

Hey cg9 no you were fine in what you told me this was for resizing page, and after I looked at the codeing I saw where I had it twice, and as I am new or more or less to hard codeing, it didn;t dawn on me.


Yes doin' great now well so fat :-).....Hey I will be back ;-)

Cindy,

Love that picture of the shed! However, there are still some quirky bits of code on that page, like some lines of code before the html start tag, and extra html and body close tags at the end of the page.
Also, it's good practice to at least include a head element with a title element in it; having a decent title on top of your window instead of a URL also looks better! :D
Your page is likely to work in most browsers as it is, but you can avoid any problems by coding clean and correct.

Cindy,

if you have any questions or problems, by all means fire them in these forums; there are lots of very knowledgable members who are willing to help in any way!
