Ok, I am a webmaster of a game website and I am in dire need of screenshots from the game. One problem: I have no clue what to do. Basically I am asking what hardware do I need to be able to capture things from a video console (Nintendo Gamecube to be exact) and also, could one piece of hardware be enough to do multiple systems (Nintendo 64 and Gamecube) or would I have to have to get different hardware for everything?
p.s. Not sure what forum this would go in, so I placed it here.

For, a computer? If so you could use a video capture device that plugs into your computer and then you plug the av cables into it etc... What operating system are you using?
P.S if you want to buy one cheap pm me.

Yeah either a TV tuner card or a card that just takes in composite video in will work, you just hook up whatever console to it and you can take screenshots.
there are also external options that are rather cheap.
Just keep in mind that whatever video capture device you use, you're probably not going to be happy with the quality unless, of course, you spend upwards of a $200.

I am on a WindowsXP SP2, but it's a notebook, so dw5304's option is out..
Is it even possible on a notebook? I have an old desktop, but it's running XP SP1 and it's about 5 years old.
They have those usb 2.0 capture devices also. Here is an example of one:
Plextor ConvertX M402U USB 2.0 Video Capture with Burn to DivX & DVD (http://shop3.outpost.com/product/4122953?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG)
but im sure you'll be able to find many other different ones around.
