i notice that in the user preferences, there's a spot for letting the user choose their own style sheets. personally, i think that'd be nice, so i wondered how many other people would be interested in that.

Actually, the "styles" in vBulletin refer not to style sheets, but "styles" literally. As the admin, I can create and upload various styles, the current "green" being one of them. The member may then toogle between the various styles to display when viewing CF.

Right now there are no selectable styles, as I've yet to read into how to create them in VB. Anyhow, I hear VB3 makes the task a lot easier, so I'm looking forward to the release. :)

the thing that is good with having a free board like PHPBB is that you can download it and make your own styles as with VB most of us dont have it so we cant create spiffy styles an give them to George. the green design is very nice i think, its better than most boards who strangley enough all have a variant of blue design

To make your own VB styles, can go to http://www.vbulletin.org or http://www.vbulletintemplates.com Not sure if you can figure how it works by viewing the source of various styles, as I've never looked at it.

To test them, well I dunno how you can do it without having your own VB. There must be a way.
