I can't get the line on the top banner to line up with the border going around "Front Page News."

Booo, I appreciate your help guys; I've been coming here for almost 3 years now whenever I have a new web project and its usually the same problem ^^;;

To make it a whole lot easier why don't you take the line of the image and use css?

just nest the content and menu tables in a learger table which has style="border-top-style:solid;border-top-width:2;border-top-color:000000"

Simple, that way if your content table goes bigger it will always have a line above it to match.

And if you want a spacing , you can just have at the end of the border part ;padding-bottom:3

That would really give you less hassles in the long run.:D

Ok, I have fixed it and attached it as a .txt file just save it as a htm.

The problem was just the cell and table widths, where you had the code:

<TABLE borderColor=black cellSpacing=0 width=459 align=top border=1
valign="top" callpadding="0">


Notice the blue values, that is what I have changed.
Note: I took out the bad word here, it is still in the source though.

Oh yeah I forgot to tell you about my cursing comments throughout my sources hahaha... Well hey man thanks a lot!!! Lemmi try this out now =)

k thanks man! That works. So far I've been messing with the values of the widths but they won't adjust, only the middle one will. Can I get it so my middle one is 468 width, for banner purposes, and I can lessen one of the sides by 8 to do this?

Lol. I do that all the time.

Maybe he meant the old UBB? As in he used to go to wsabstract.com and whent from there or something.

I usually search, and if I can't find it, I tend to put it into a new thread, so others who are bothered can find it more easily.

But there are some who can't be bothered. Pity. :rolleyes:
