Is it possible for someone to say drag an drop something in a flash movie, and have it move for anyone else viewing the movie.

What you want can be done with Flash Media Server using Shared Objects. Basically, the clients communicate with the server to receive real-time data from the other clients.

Largely this is used for flash chat rooms and flash whiteboard type of applications.
