Hi. I am looking for a serious coder for a couple big projects. To be precise I am looking for a business partner. I will not be paying money, but instead selling you 49% of my shares in exchange for your work.

I have the ideas and business resources. My partner has to be competent in graphic design, web design (preferably PHP), databases (for forums). I would prefer that you are university student or graduate and it would be best if you are Canadian. However; the last 3 credentials are not necessarily ample.

As I mentioned above I am looking for a serious and competent person. He or she must be driven, motivated, responsible and of course after big dollars.

Please send me a brief description/resume or contact me at slamma@rogers.com for further details.

Why give up 49% of your company? You are better off paying for the coding and design work and be 100% in control.

Yeah, gotta say, if these "companies" only have 2 shareholders, 49% = 0%. If you're talking an even 50 / 50 split, then at least you have an offer. Most corps / companies with a 49/51 split mean the 49% partner can ALWAYS be overruled by the 51% partner. 50-50 splits at least both parties need to agree.

I'd be wary of this type of arrangement.

Hi. Thanks for your inquiries. Unfortunately I don't have $20 000 to pay somebody to code stuff for me. This is also an ongoing project and until the company turns a profit we cannot afford hiring staff. Once things are rolling the coder is going to be instructing employees, rather than sitting there and coding stuff him/herself.

I would also prefer somebody who is going to be as interested in making the company succeed. And yes you are 100% right about the uneven split; however, that is exactly what I am looking for. I must retain control of the company for the sake of doing things my way.
