I'm new to Web Development & unfortunately the company who is hosting my site is not supporting & they are not guiding me properly.
Now I got a problem.
My FTP server is not responding me. It don't allow me to save any file to my server. I checked the settings using my control pannel but everything is fine. A few days back I uploaded many files & there was no problem. I asked my hosts to solve this problem but they did not reply me as I've told that they r not supporting.
Please help me how can I get rid of this problem ???
THANX

Do you have anti-virus software on your PC? It's possible that that's what is preventing your FTP from working. I've had that happen before.
You say that your FTP isn't responding. What is it doing, just sitting there? Any error messages you can look at or post?
I see that mlseim sent you a PM about 20 minutes before you posted again. Have you been in contact with him to try and resolve the problem privately?
A few more details would help.

I dont have any AntiVirus but I think its not the problem. Because I connect to my FTP server & I can see all the files there but when I try to upload anything it gives the:
ERROR 500 - Access Denied
You don't have permissions to save files.
I checked everything, I recreated the account but nothin worked !

Have you checked your Windows firewall? If you're sure you've ruled out absolutely everything on your end that could be the problem and your web host can't or won't offer any help, then I would switch web hosts if I were you.

Either transfer bandwidth somehow or more likely your total webspace allotment

Uzair ...
I tried it again this morning (with the account info you gave me),
and it works great using my WSFTP-LE. I uploaded a graphic
image called "pixel.gif" (a single transparent pixel). It uploaded
just fine. I didn't get any errors.
I'll PM you with my private email address.

Uzair, what FTP Program are you using? I don't think it'd be a firewall problem because he can connect. I think it's something to do with your FTP client.
