It's an interesting website. One thing I would do is to make the navigation more visible.

Flash sites are annoying :( and if you have a large resolution it'll stretch to fill the window. I don't like the sound either.... what is it's purpose!?
I agree with the navigation visibility comment, took me a while to actually realise it was there...

I had to shut it off the moment it loaded. I share a room with another person, sound bad, speech even worse.

Hi Folks,
Thanks for the quick replies!
I didn't realize that anyone would have a problem with the menu--I'll
think about that.
With regard to "stretching" to fill the screen--I use a technique called
liquid design to ensure the view will remain the same size as designed
(800 X 600) relative to window size. I'd be very interested if this is
not the case (if you have the patience to try different resolutions on
your system). I've set mine to 1280 X 1024 and the site displays
correctly as 800 X 600.
Regarding sound--is it too loud or you don't like it. The voiceovers
are produced using a speech synthesizer--I could switch to a female
voice.
The effect we're going for is an "interactive TV commercial".
Again, thanks for the comments.

That's ugly and annoying.
Why flash? Why music? Why voices?
at the fist page it sounds like "WEL-come to HAwk ICE SMIles..."

Hi Ranger56,
Thanks for taking a look and your "constructive comments".

Overall, its just a little bland. Flash sites are not always the best way to go.
I agree with the navigation visibility comment, took me a while to actually realise it was there...
I second that...

The speech is loud, obnoxious and intrusive. Not everyone surfs alone. The cheesy lift music in completely unnecessary, as is all the moving words. If you want to make a cheesy ad then give the user the option to not see it. Also when you turn the sound off, it still plays the speech.

hey pspdownloads,
Good to see a fellow poker person on the forum. I turned pro about a year ago and make some decent money at it. Do you get over to partypoker
very much? Some big bucks over there!
