- You're sending XHTML as text/html.
- Not a fan of flash banners.
- Don't like the navigation

Otherwise pretty good.

Your website is useless with flash off. Put some HTML in the object for those who don't support objects and text browsers/people with flash off/people without flash.

The buttons are really annoying with that initial flash.
You're not using XHTML.
Justify text, please.
Use sIFR or FIR for headers, not direct images. Your headers aren't paragraphs, they're headers. Use the header tags (h#).
p#footer, not a division.

Too much red.

It's not bad, but to improve accesibility I'd suggest creating a menu with HTML and images, which could be displayed if the user does not have Flash.

Text blocks are cause there is no content yet as this is a comp.

There is a title? You do mean the thing in the bar up on top of the browser right? Maybe I am miss understanding.

Do you have flash player installed? What browser are you on?

What is the point of the stars on your navigation? I don't see one. The flickering of the flash nav is a bit annoying. You changed your doctype but now all of your code is using XML style closing.

There's nothing wrong with quoting all attribute values and closing all tags (not self closing) in HTML 4.01.

There really is no point to the stars ... just an effect, they will shut off after 20 seconds soon. So as not to be annoying.

The light flicker was at request from the client. Go fig.

A divider between the columns would rock to help the eye figure out where to go and what is related and what is not better.

The logo is really hard to read. Use a differant color, affect, or font.

Have to agree with Aero on this one. The flashing buttons thing is annoying and, to some degree, distracting as well given that the button flashes again when you move to another button. The glow effect isn't bad, but the flash part just. . . doesnt mesh well.

As for the snow, I can kind of understand it, but it might fit the theme a bit better if the bottom of the banner (just above those buttons) was layered in snow as well. Then it would have that accumulation sort of feel but you would have to make the falling flakes disappear at that point instead of letting them drift into the buttons area. Also would work well if there were fewer flakes so that they aren't quite so distracting (assuming the client is insisting on the falling snow effect).

It doesn't seem overly cluttered just yet, but you are only using filler content at the moment so it is hard to say what it will look like when it is finished. In the end, however, I think the flashing effect and the "amount of snowfall" are just a bit too distracting to allow the visitor to concentrate on the actual content as it stands right now.

You know ... I completly agre with the amount of stars ... I am going to turn it down.

and the flicker of the light ... the client wants. He made me do it !!

Maybe if it didnt flicker when it turned off?

what exactly is the point of having the flash? it doesn't add anything to the site. If you're going to have the "flashing lights" you can always do that with a animated gif. it just seems like flash is not necessary here.

My other suggestion in regards to the navigation is to change the font. the times new roman thing doesn't seem to jive with the over all design...

i agree that the stars should go

the glow around the text in the banner is distracting and reduces readability of the words.

I like the color scheme.

You might want to put the phone number or address somewhere on the banner or footer on everypage instead of just on your contact page.

He wanted a flash header.

Yeah the font will be the same as the logo font when he pays for the site ... premium font and all.

And the glow is only cause the logo pic he gave me was NASTY !! :)

It will be redone when the font is purchased.

And like I said .. there will be MANY less stars.

Thanks all keep it coming !
