Hi,

I am looking to add reviews to my web site, Web Hosting Opinions (http://www.webhostingopinions.com/).

All you have to do is review your web host at the address below, and I will forward $0.50 to your PayPal account.

http://www.webhostingopinions.com/add_review.php (http://www.webhostingopinions.com/add_review.php)

In order for me to pay you, your review must be high quality, and be as descriptive as possible. You must also be a current or ex client of the host you are reviewing.

When you're done, simply reply to this post with your PayPal e-mail address, and I'll send you the money. I will check this page several times per day.

Thanks.

50c? lol .. For 50c I will give you a single paragraph review. You can't even do anything with 50c.

you're very generous - a whole paragraph? I would give you a sentence.

You realise once PayPal takes off their fees its going to be like 0.30c we are getting?

I reckon 5.00 per 4 paragraphs of varied length...

Yeah, typical paypal fees are 2.9% + 0.30 per transaction.

Works out to 33 cent fee, or 17 cents for me to pocket.

Assuming I can write a 1 paragraph review in say, 5 minutes, that works out to...

5 min = 1/30th hours

.17 * 30 = $5.10 / hour

Which is less than the minimum wage in the US (currently $5.15 / hour).

No thanks. :D

 thats less than the UK minimum wage for 16-17 year olds!
Not that I have a min wage job but still, makes you glad to be english.
Uk min wage for 21+ is £5.05 (going up to £5.35 this year), plus minimum 20 days holiday (not including national holidays)

FWIW, 5 minutes is a 12th of an hour. meaning $2.04 an hour

Yeah you would have made a couple of g's..Sure I know you're usually a good answer to a lot of problems, but is every one of your posts "high quality" and "as descriptive as possible"? :p

lol, that's the spirit! I'm also a bit drunk.. I went to a local pub for pool comp, and god damnit if i had been drinking heavier i probably would have won it!! got knocked out in semi final match but it was close.

Anyway, I dont see any point in this thread being pursued any further.. I'm pretty sure our point has been carried across.

Hi guys, thanks for your comments. I realize $0.50 isn't very much, but you don't have to do very much either. I'm not asking for an essay to be written, but I simply don't want people submitting things like "this host sucks" or "this host is the best". Other than that, everything will be approved. If you want to make a bit more money, feel free to review multiple hosts, as long as you've been with the companies you are reviewing.

Thanks for your time.

You don't get fees if you have a personal account, but with that account status you're not able to accept credit card transactions. Also if you're doing any business online you're supposed to upgrade your account.

You can accept credit card payments if you are verified. You can get verified by backing up your account with your banking account. If the client pays with cc then yeah you get fees taken out.
