for those who use vb express 2005

ive been using the prog for a while and this has always happened to me.

how do u guys publish ur progs and send them to people?

i go to build, publish and do it

then every person i send to trys to install.
then it starts installing .net framework for some reason.

and always ends up saying "installation taking longer than expected" to everyone that tries.
this has happened with every prog ive made.

so can one of you guys explain how you publish please?

vb express 2005 requires the .net framework to run, have you downloaded the distributable .net framework version? if not download it from msdn and see if that doesn't take care of your problem, to answer your question though you just simply open your code and hit the publish button.
