First off the file I'm working with is www.zduck.com/example.htm

I need to make the 'treeview' and 'main' DIV's height dynamic, sortof like if I were to use a percentage to determine their height. I tried this but it wasn't consistant. The larget you resized the window, a gap would grow below the DIVs. How can I make the height of 'treeview' and 'main' fill the window? Or can I without using %'s?

This sounds a little convoluted - but if you don't want to use percentages then I would find out the availHeight values for the window and set the div's height to that value.

IE = screen.availHeight;

NN = window.innerHeight;

DOM = window.innerHeight;

screen.availHeight will tell you the available height of the users monitor not the window(for ns and ie). to find the height of the window, you need to use document.body.offSetHeight ... or something like that...

Try reloading the page on resize?

your example page seems to be working fine for me in Moz 1.1. you said you're using % for the size of the divs. are you using % for the position?
