Auto Download

I recently visited a site (I will provide a link if asked), and it started auto downloading files onto my computer without my permission. I did not have to click open, or save, or anything - it just downloaded. How exactly is this done?

That can only happen if you are using Internet Explorer and don't have the security settings for the browser set up properly.

To fix this on XP make sure SP2 is installed.
To fix on older Windows versions turn off activeX.
