I work with a small company and we would like to share our calendars in MS Outlook. Is it possible to do this without an Microsoft Exchange server? Some of the people within the company are not super computer savy so I am not really looking for something that requires users to store their data file on the server where other users have to go to find it. I was wondering if anyone knows how to share these calendars without paying for the exchange server. Is it possible to just store the data files on a server at work and then point outlook there for each user in outlook? Any suggests would be appricated.

The only thing that really comes to mind is that IF you have a web server, there are a great MANY php calendar scripts for free. You can run those on an internal web server. You obviously don't have Exchange, but if you have 2k or 2k3 server, you could use IIS, and either a php or ASP calendar script.

My boss at work also mentioned something about sharing a calendar through Yahoo, although I have no idea what he was talking about. Might want to check that out, too.
