Instead of scrolling through the pages in Adobe reader I want have the links to navigate through the pages when links are clicked like in html document. Is it possible to create links in pdf document to navigate through pages?...I have seen a pdf document of someone portfolio having this interactivity.

You can create links in PDF files. You need the full version of Acrobat to do it. Although I have heard others say that there is other software available to do this. I don't believe you can create the links simply with Photoshop.

Thank you hyperbole!
For last couple of days Iam waiting for some member to reply my post. Is Acrobat is different from Acrobat reader. Is it Adobe product? Can you mention some reference url where I can find some tutorials on this subject (Creating interactive PDFs).

Acrobat is the full Adobe product. Acrobat Reader is one of the programs in Acrobat. Adobe has made the Reader available for free so that anyone can read a document made with Acrobat. The way to create an Acrobat document is to purchase Acrobat from Adobe. This will give you the full product with all the tools you need for creating *.pdf files.

I understand that there are plugins available for MircoSoft Word and for OpenOffice that allow you to create Acrobat documents. However, I have not used them, so I don't know if they give you the ability to create links and forms and the other extras available in Acrobat.
