JavaScript Drop Down problem

Hello,
This problem does not occur in Firefox but does in IE. The menu bar in the center of the page should have drop down menus coming out of all the items except Home, Links, and Contact. However something is preventing it from working correctly. I got the code for the drop down menuing from this site:

PS - forgot to mention that I think the problem stems from the table that the drop downs are contained in. i've tried making each one independent of the table and they work. kind of frustrating...
