Could someone give me a quick idiot's guide to Apache's mod_rewrite? For me, the idiot. :) It looks interesting.

And can I use something similar on a different server?

Thanks, that helped me figure it out. But I'd rather use internet explorer than Apache, so if there something similar I could use for say Abyss?

Whatcha mean? IE is a web browser, Apache is a piece of web server software.

Oh no I'm not comparing them, I'm just saying I don't like Apache. (As I don't like IE.) Mostly because it crashes all the time. But I think I got all that worked out and I'm now using Apache and mod_rewrite for my new site. :)

Problem! I'm getting a message that says "Redirection limit for this URL is exceeded." What does that mean and how do I fix it?
