Are meta tags normally included in every HTML document or just the main index page?

Thanks Zoob, can I call you Zoob?
That means I gotta go back and put in all the meta tags. I recently deleted them in an attempt to shrink file sizes ... unless ... no I guess all I need is the Index page because as long as that's listed a visitor can easily navigate from there.
I'll just have to read up on it. Thanks for the search forum.

For search engines, the only meta tags you need are the keywords and description tags. Or, if you don't want your page to be spidered, the no-index tag, although it would be better to use a robots.txt file or an htaccess for that.
There's no need to tell a robot if and when your page must be revisited or whatever other things. Robots come and go when they want, not when you tell them to.
If you want to shrink file sizes, replace the font tags by css.
By the way, nice menu :)
