Review my game site please

hi i have a gameing site called www.ugplay.com and i want to know what you guys think about the site. tell me whats good on it and what i could do to make it better....and dont forget to rate it from 1 to 10 as 10 being the highest

Well considering the fact that your site is a game site, I think you need to add more colors and graphics to the page. Also consider adding a background and making the banner more attractive as the white background gives the page a plain, simple look. Overall I would give your site a 7/10. :thumbsup:

First of all, this thread is better at home in the "site Reviews" forum. Please do not cross-post, I'll request a moderator to move it there.

Second, besides the superfluous poll function once again, I don't think a review is about giving marks; in my opinion, a review should be about identifying stronger and weaker aspects and suggesting improvements.

That said: your markup is an interesting mix of fairly advanced, semantic markup and dodgy nested tables; looks like you used the basic layout presented somewhere else, but sadly didn't manage to keep up that level.
Layout's pretty nice, therefore, although it doesn't necessarily fit the site's subject.

Also, I'm fairly unimpressed by the header and heading image quality; it might just be that they look totally out of place in the rest of the layout. I guess you've got some adjusting to do there.

Lastly: was this meant to be the file name, or did something not go entirely to plan: http://www.ugplay.com/games/allgames/allgames1.html.html (2x "html"; same for "sports", "family" and "strategy")?
