Splitting DVD into audio and video files?

Hey,

Right, I've got a DVD which I've converted into VOB files etc using DVD Decrypter onto a hard disk here. What I need to do now is split the audio and video files up so I can re-save selected pieces of audio on their own as audio files rather than audio/video files etc..yada...

Anyone got any suggestions as to the software that I could use to do this? I have the Adobe Video Collection which compromises of Adobe Premiere which I use to burn my DVDs in the first place. The DVD I'm trying to cut up isn't one I have burnt myself.

Please don't mention about copyright, there is no issue to worry about here...

DVD Decrypter will do it, just change to the mode where you can select which audio streams and stuff you want and then i think it will save the video files and then the audio files. (I think) you mean need to take it a step further but I think it will do that.

Ah right cheers I'll try it - what format would the audio be in?

Either AC3 or uncompressed WAV but you should be able to convert either I'd think.
