itunes freezes

When I play my itunes, almost everytime the sound skips and freezes on the songs. My speakers work perfectly normal on movies and any other sound that comes from my computer, but it's only the music on itunes. I was wondering if anyone knows how that could be fix! Thanks!

Try uninstalling it, then reinstalling it.

if i uninstall it, will I lose all my music and need to start over again?

nope. Your itunes music library is left intact and not deleted.
