opening firefox fullscreen

does anyone know how to make firefox start in fullscreen mode with the address bar turned off?

I'm using it for a digital picture frame i made, and i'd like to be able to do a hands free restart that gets me right back to firefox- fullscreen, no address bar


right now, i have to close the address bar then hit f-11... too many steps.

You could check out some kiosk browsing extensions (https://addons.mozilla.org/extensions/showlist.php?application=firefox&category=Kiosk%20Browsing).

none of those seem to have the feature I need

Maybe you can look in the about:config of Firefox. There you can tweak/modify settings, but be carefull with it!

thanks, I found autohide last night, but wasn't sure I could trust it... its working perfectly
