I'm hosting a website from my home computer. It's not a very big website now but I'm considering for the future. If the traffic increases to that of a small business website, what would be the minimum internet connection speed I'd need to handle that traffic?

Depends on how big the files you are hosting will be, and how many visitors you expect. Though, it has been mentioned recently, hosting from a private machine can violate your ISP's TOC's.

I have DSL and I don't think I'm violating anything. How would I determine that?

Anyway, I'm not really hosting large files. It's basically just forums and show guides. But I don't want it to slow down if the number of visitors gets into the hundreds. (Which it probably won't any time soon, I'm just being prepared.)
