I'm running my own server and am using an upload script from zachwhite.com and have a few problems. In the config file it asks me for my absolute path for the downloads which is /www/htdocs/uploader/uploads/ - I assume this is correct?

So I open up my page where the script is located, upload a file and check in my uploads folder to see if the file is there and it's not. I don't know whats going on, I've tried a few other similar scripts and have the same problems.

My O/S is Windows XP Pro :o

This sounds more like a php issue. Gonna move it over there.

On Windows absolute paths start with something like "C:/"

What are you running on your server? Windows or Linux?
If on Linux, is the folder owner same as the user that apache runs under (normally 'nobody' or 'apache')?
If on Linux, are the permissions set correctly on the folder (normally all folders have permissions '755' on them)?
