Question

Ok i thought that this would be the best Area to post this in.

Ok over the past few weeks i have been coding my own shoutbox script. I am very close to completing this so i thought i would ask about this now.

I have never really done anything with webhosting or the coding for it. So i wanted to know How i would place the ShoutBox onto a website?
I know that i would need a MYSQL databse but im not sure how i would place the shoutbox on this site and make it show up.

Thanks to anyone that can help me here. Im just inexperienced when it comes to websites.

Hang on--you say you're nearly finished with the script and only now you're starting to wonder about the database end of things? :confused:

What scripting language did you code this in?
Did you arrange for hosting already? Do you have a domain and server space?
