Turning a typed address into a popup

Hi Guys :)

Anyone know how i can turn do this:-

A user clicks a link like below

www.address.com/popup.php

And instead of the page appearing as it should, it just pops up a window and goes back to the page it was at. Same happens when a user types it in the browser.

Would be great if anyone could help :)

Typed in browser: impossible.

Otherwise: if the link is on your page, just add 'target="_blank"' to the <a href>.

na i know that :) but what i think i have to do is customize or fool the browser somehow like the typed address pops up a window and parent refreshes elsewhere ..

you cannot do this, save for creating your own duplicate address bar. but that makes your reasons for doing this suspicious, hence the comment title.
