Javascript Won't Work on a page already with Javascript

Is there a special way to add javascript on a page that already has existing javascript on it? Because when i try to use some AJAX it works fine. Preview: http://quibber.ahplace.com/ajax.html however when i use it on a page already with other scripts running, it doesnt (http://quibber.ahplace.com)

It should be working as far as I know... But those pages you gave don't connect for both of them, so I can't really have a look for myself.

the additional javascript code must be in a new tag... like this...
<script src="functions.js"></script>
<script>
...
new code here
...
</script>

and NOT like this...
<script src="functions.js">
...
new code here
...
</script>
