Hello guys!

I was wondering if it is possible in HTML to use a cell of a table as the default section for opening links? like in framepages.

I have been searching the net, but didn't find anything about it, so I guess it's not possible, but just want to make sure :)

tnx in advanvce

You can put an iframe inside a table cell and it will act sorta like that, but a table cell by itself can't load other pages.

yea if you use links in a table it would bean the user loading the page everytime but seeing as most people have bb nowa days that isn't too much of a problem as for iframes i dont really like them and always stay away from them :)

If you are really despirate to make this work, it could be done. You would need to call a javascript function in your links (onClick="cellular('content.html')") . Pass the page name as an argument to the js function containing the html for the table cell. You can use javasctript's XMLHttpRequest(aka AJAX) to retreive the html file and have the contents of the file in the responseText method of your object. Once you have the page contents as a string you can alter the cell using the innerHTML property and the cell's id attribute.

Anything is possible ;)
