About using a new Template

If I ever decided to use a different template than the ones that are provided with my free blogger site, what is the way in which I utilize that template? Do I just delete the old template code and paste in the new code? That would seem too simple.

Which blogger site are you using? www.blogger.com or www.blogspot.com? You will need to be sure to keep the variables that in the original template. In your control panel you have the option to edit the template.
