I want to be able to have a block of text over an image...been trying to make it happen, but just can get it...Any suggestions/help would be appreciated.

Here is the image

and here is what I want to overlay

print "<table>";
$most_active = get_most_active_blogs( 15, false );
if( is_array( $most_active ) ) {
print "<tr><th scope='col'>15 Most Active Blogs</th></tr>";
while( list( $key, $details ) = each( $most_active ) ) {
$class = ('alternate' == $class) ? '' : 'alternate';
$url = "http://" . $details[ 'domain' ] . $details[ 'path' ];
print "<tr class='$class'><td><a href=\"$url\">$url</a></td></tr>";
}
}
print "</table>";

Use CSS to set that image as a background for your table.

The table has to have the exact same dimensions as the image for this to work, though; it might be a better idea to arrange it such that at least one of its dimensions, preferably its height, is flexible so it'll adjust to the actual content.
If the width is fixed, depending on the amount of flexibility required you'll need two or three slices of the background image and as much elements to attach them to (an element can only have one background image, sadly).
