What do you guys think of the "million dollar pixel" craze, I just heard of it a few days ago. The php coded software from one company is only $180.00 US. I notice lots of copy cat sites but the original site has already sold about $500,000 worth of pixels in a few months.

yeah, but you wish you were the one that exec'd fad.cfg, lol.. just a stupid and simple idea has turned this kid into practically a millionaire... i need to create a fad config so I don't have to sit here at work!

Well I wonder if he is a tax-registered company. If he isn't, then he won't be happy. His income is from a commercial exercise. Therefore (being based in Britain) he is a trading (presumably) non-tax-registered company. All pixels sold should include tax presumably. As for being a fad, it is. Just another moronic means to make money, and have fools part with theirs.

So anyway. I wonder what the Inland Revenue will think about his site.

I'm searched around on his blogs just to see what it was all about. He's already consulted an accountant and everything will be taxed properly and mentioned a good chunk will be taken out, but still more money than he had planned on. So he's actually good to go.

Yeah, it's definitely a fad, but he sure knew how to come up with an idea to play on the dumb people. It worked and he made some serious money in only 3 months, not to mention he's touring the UK and the US cuz of it. I need a stupid scheme that will play off the ignorant. To help me with this, please forward me $100 to my PayPal account.

He has some testimonials from people claiming vast increases in traffic to their site after buying pixels. Who knows what that's about, but...

No no no. You need to come up with the "billion dollar pixel" project. You can sell your pixels at .001 and still make as much!
