JS help with an online petition type thing

Well....What I would like is to have a petition so that:
You sign your name in a box,
And the script automatically updates the list to add your name that you typed onto the bottom.
I am hoping JS can do this

You would need to use a database to save this information rather than using JavaScript. Have a look into using a server-side language such as PHP or ASP (search for google for tutorials on both) and a database such as MySql.
