Is their a javascipt ide for sane people or does everyone just use emcas and notepad?

I thought javascript was on the cushy side of vb:eek:
I gues their are a lot more geeks then I thought...
well anyway is there a application language for the web other than java?

I can't say anything about them myself, as I use textpad.

I'm with Brandoe85 in using TextPad. True, it's not as full featured as Visual Studios (no modeling, UML, schemas, etc.), but its still good enough for writing code. There's a pretty good syntax coloring scheme plug-in that will mark-up HTML, CSS, PHP, and JS (although all functions, keywords, etc. are the same color reguardless of the language)
