I spent an hour with our current webhosting service (Verizon) trying to find out how much extra it would be to switch from a Unix to Windows server so we could run ASP.net. Do you believe no one could answer my question? So, to those of you out there running your web site on a windows server, if anyone is willing to share an approximation of how much they're paying, I would be very grateful if you would be willing to share a ballpark figure of how much it's costing.
It doesn't have to be the exact amount -- I'm just trying to get an approximation to find out if it's worth it for us to switch from UNIX to windows.
Sheez......I can't believe Verizon. I had the same trouble when I had DSL connection issues with our home account...That took months to figure out all that was required was for Verizon to add a splitter. But, I digress.....Thanks for letting me vent.
