HELP WITH WEBPAGE!!!(suggestions also)

Please go to this link, and feel free to post any suggestions that you might have. I am not completly finished the page yet. The only 3 links that work under PLATFORMS are "Home" "Gamecube" and "Xbox".

I will be posting for suggestions again when I am finished the webpage, but I thought I might ask for suggestions now, since I am having a problem, and I need you to go to the webpage for you to help me.

If you are in say the "xbox" page, click on the new releases and coming soon links on the right hand side of the page.

You will notice that it works good.(except that I don't have any games listed there because Im not running the store just yet.)

Although when you click on either one of those links, the green lines at the left side of the page, that where moving back and fourth suddenly stop.

Why is that?

actually its because as soon as you click on any link, the next page starts to load....thats what I think :D

c q is right. Try putting the navigation menu in a separate frame or IFRAME...

Use a different font, TNR is ugly. Also can't read the New release(s)? and coming soon text you have (the red and black text) on the images. Your layout bounces around too. On the home page the top links are centre(ish) and when you click on xbox the links are on the far right.

OKay. I will change the font and color of the New release and coming soon links(do you have any suggestions on what to change them to?)(Some of the other fonts that I tried where too plain)

Also I was meaning to change the layout problem. I originally had the top links sort of centered then I changed them when I was working on the xbox page, and didn't change them on the homepage.

Suggestions..
-- put some cellpadding in the left nav area, so that the words aren't butt-up against the left side.

--when there are large lists i.e. Game Rentals, the list is long and makes the page very long and scrolling and the like.
*Make a table with a few rows and columns in it.
For example::
Perhaps put two or three lists together in one row (separated by columns of course), then under that, another row with the same idea. Main purpose, to help shorten the length of this page--

--here's a hint, there is a chuck of code you can get that will banish those Geocities ads… unfortunately... I can't give-em to you here - sorry.

I know you are in the process of making this site, and so far so good, so I won't say anything regarding colour schemes and the like, til it's a little more done ;P

Ah, be sure to include some copyright/email me etc. useful information at the bottom of your pages.

And, how about changing the colours on those scrollbars?? The codes for those are found in this forum someplace... if you can’t find-em, I’ll send-em to you.

I am going to take the page off of Geocities now, so I can continue working on it.


I will post another thread later on when I have my domain name set up.(for more suggestions)
