i need your help. im an aspiring web builder, and i want to build my own website what do i need to do start. i mean from the begining. what's the best way to go. i don't know if to use javascript or html or some thing else or to use both?

I would say using HTML is a definite and JavaScript will definitely come in handy. If you would eventually like to have interactive content perhaps from a database you will need to know a server side language such as asp, php, or cold fusion.

Depending on the content of your site you will probably need to be able to create and edit images. The "standard" program for doing this is Adobe Photoshop which is quite expensive.

You could get away with just using html and php, guess it depends on what language(s) your host supports.
