Hi Guys,
the time has come for my client to move up from Access to something more effecient etc. I was going to buy SQL Server Standard but noticed that 'Express' is free. hmmm. so what's the catch? so far, I understand that innitially it had no GUI but now does, It has a database size limit of 4GB and is limited to using a single processor and 1GB of RAM.
Essentially, my clients requirements are modest but he gets several hundred hits /day and I want to build his entire website (quite a lot of text and images) from a database. Can Express handle this. can it handle internet access and multiple connections?
Will my ASP code port straight over to SQL Server?
Thanks
Mark
