When I make a new window with javascript that doesn't have an addressbar, it automatically puts the site name in the title, is there any way to remove this? My window I need to make is so small that I can't fit my real title in there where the "http://www.singleparadox.com" is.

Is there any way to get rid of this?

<html>
<head>
<title>
Main Page
</title>
</head>

<body onload="window:open('the.html')">
text here
</body>
</html>

and then the.html

<html>
<head>
<title>
</title>
</head>

<body>
text here
</body>
</html>

just leave the title blank but put in the tags on the window that gets opened

no, you don't understand, I have a window.open() right? well on the page being opened, the title is:

Archives - Flash

and because there is no addressbar, this is what the title looks like automatically

http://www.singleparadox.com - Archives - Flash

is there any way to get rid of the http://www.singleparadox.com part?

if i understand correctly you have a link with an action window:open(); and then that window is opened, the title automaticly has SingleParadox.com in it, correct?

yes you are correct, I didn't try your code but just looking at it I knew it wasn't what I mean't.

Unfortunately no. Not since SP2 came out.

Ok thank you Aerospace, all I needed to know. That is unfortunate but at least I know. :)

It is a security issue - letting the person viewing the page know where the page they are viewing is from so that they don't think it comes from one site when it actually comes from a different site.
