Could I get a few opinions on my new design please?

Wow I think it looks very good, the only thing I can see needs changing I think is the logo should have at least a little blue in it to match with the navigation? Don't you agree? But I like the site very much :thumbsup: good job!

color wise I like it. The whole kakhi and blue thing works well.

A couple minor issues though.

I think you shuold have the navigation strecth down like the content does. With the footer spanning the same width as the header it looks like it just hangs there. Feels awkward.

The footer background color would probally look better the same blue as the stripe under the header. It also needs thatwhite border like the stripe and the navigation has.

Adjust the line height a little on the footer as well. The words sit right on the bottom. maybe get it looking like the words on the navigation and it would be more comfortable.

veiwing on mozilla 1.7.8 for reference.

Looks good the only thing that i would say is that on the navigation, the page that you are currently on is the same as the colour of the mouse over. Other than that it looks good,

Thanks everyone for your nice comments.

I think i will look into adjusting the line height on the footer and adding the white border. Also changing the background colour of the footer as well to match the bar at the top, i didnít realise it was a different colour so thanks for pointing that out.

Right i have now done this. How does it look?

One thing I have noticed about my site when viewed in firefox is that main content box is not inline with the header and the footer. If you look at it from the right hand side and then look down the page then you will see the box sticks out a bit.

the little color changes make it look a little more consistent to me. Nice

try this and see if it solves anything

#container {
width: 750px;
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;

#main-content {
width: 535px;
font: normal small Tahoma, Helvetica, sans-serif;
color: #333333;
background-color: #fff;
margin: 10px 0 0 188px;
padding: 10px;
border: 2px solid #D8D8D8;
#container>#main-content {
margin-left: 189px;

it might need to be 190 or 191. I cnan't tell xactly how off it is.

Looks great to me, only thing I'm not sure on is that blue div (id=bar), under the header. What's it's purpose? Just strikes me as a bit out of place.

Thanks Harbinger. I originally tried adjusting the main content and the container widths but it messed up in IE so thanks for that.
I put it to 190px and it seems to do the trick, does it look ok your end?

Thanks Mark for the comments, I just put the bar there because otherwise i think the header looks a bit detached from the rest of the page.
