Blog in an iframe?lilrobson 09-28-2002, 05:43 PM Is it possible to put a blog in an iframe? If so.. is it possible to have my normal background within the iframe and the text to the blog be there? I'm so lost.. please help c q 09-28-2002, 06:18 PM wass a 'blog' ?????? lilrobson 09-28-2002, 06:27 PM A blog is somewhat like a journal embedded in your website.. http://www.blogger.com adios 09-28-2002, 06:58 PM Did you want to embed your entire blog in an iframe? Why...an iframe is an HTML element, displaying a web page, in another web page. Maybe you mean putting part of your blog in a 'display' iframe in your main page...kind of like this (very stylish) site: http://www.outof-focus.com/# More details....are you using a blogger-type tool? lilrobson 09-28-2002, 07:21 PM Yes! That's exactly what I meant.. ah I couldn't figure out the right way to put the words.. ..but what do you mean by blogger-type tool? Ah, I'm really new at this can ya tell? lol.. adios 09-28-2002, 07:44 PM General info: http://www.freesources.net/authoring/html/iframe.htm http://www.yourhtmlsource.com/frames/inlineframes.html Examples: http://www.google.com/search?q=iframe+blog&btnG=Google+Search&hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8 By 'tool' I meant a program like blogger to get your bloggy up-and-running. I assume there's support for this technique there, since so many are opting for it. Quiet Storm 09-29-2002, 10:50 PM My example with iFRAMEs: The Storms (http://www.angelfire.com/mo2/cbch21/) tommysphone 10-03-2002, 03:46 PM See - http://www.rageybabey.com A message (tag) board is on the right hand side of the page. No reason why you cannot have a blog in an Iframe. |
